Remote Workplace Policy
Purpose This Remote Workplace Policy outlines the expectations and requirements for employees of KLEAP Technologies, which operates as a fully remote workplace. This policy is designed to ensure the safety, security, and productivity of our employees while working remotely.
Responsibilities Employees who work remotely are responsible for:
Maintaining a safe and secure remote work environment
Ensuring they have the necessary equipment and technology to perform their job duties
Adhering to KLEAP Technologies' policies and procedures, including but not limited to confidentiality, data protection, and information security
Maintaining open and frequent communication with their team and manager
Following their regular work schedule and ensuring they are available during designated working hours
Ensuring they have a designated workspace that is free from distractions and interruptions
Taking regular breaks and ensuring they are taking care of their physical and mental well-being
KLEAP Technologies
- Equipment and Technology KLEAP Technologies will provide employees with the necessary equipment and technology to perform their job duties remotely, including a laptop or desktop computer and access to necessary software and applications. Employees are responsible for ensuring that the equipment and technology provided to them are used only for work-related purposes and are kept secure.
2. Work Hours Employees are expected to follow their regular work schedule and ensure they are available during designated working hours. Employees are responsible for communicating any changes to their work schedule to their team and manager.
3. Communication Employees are expected to maintain open and frequent communication with their team and manager, including responding to emails and messages in a timely manner. Employees are responsible for informing their team and manager of any issues or challenges they may be facing while working remotely.
4. Safety and Security Employees are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure remote work environment. This includes ensuring that their workspace is free from hazards, that their equipment and technology are secure, and that they are following best practices for information security and data protection.
5. Policy Violations Any violations of this Remote Workplace Policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Employees are encouraged to report any violations of this policy to their manager or HR representative.
6. Amendments to Policy KLEAP Technologies reserves the right to amend or modify this Remote Workplace Policy at any time. Employees will be notified of any changes to this policy.
